Can users or groups set speed or data limits?

Yes, IronWifi supports both bandwidth (speed) and data transfer limits for individual users and groups. You can configure these limits by assigning RADIUS attributes at the group level, which then apply to all users within that group, or override them on a per-user basis. Common attributes include upload and download speed limits (bandwidth throttling) and maximum data transfer quotas per session or billing period.

To set these limits, navigate to your group settings in the IronWifi console and add the appropriate RADIUS attributes. For example, you can use

WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Down
and
WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Up
to control download and upload speeds. For detailed instructions on available attributes and how to apply them, see the attributes documentation.
